What I meant to share

I've been meaning to share these with you lot out there but due to certain circumstances (loyal readers could guess why I've been inactive for many months), I hadn't have the effort to even open this page. Writing comes second after reading now so here are the pictures. I'm sure they say better words than I do.

Among those rubbish..

The house is under renovation now. Mum has just built a separate storeroom near the kitchen and the then living room is now two separate bedrooms for both Lija and Nurul. Pretty cool spaces they got there! My room is way smaller than theirs! Spent about 10k now. Thank God I haven't got that asthma attack as the house is now full of dust and excessive sand everywhere. So basically, we haven't started cleaning and decorating the house for the coming Eid. I guess the 'usual activities' will be on Raya Eve, just like any other years.

So packing and unpacking businesses were done. Lots of old pictures were found within boxes, as well as dozens of books. I found my personal Sociology file when I was in Form 6 in 1997/98. Gosh! My grammar sucks! LOL!! I had thought of throwing 'em out till I saw those grades on my assignment papers and I remember how hard it was to get As and Bs back then. A'Level used to give me depression. No matter how hard I tried, I felt even harder to achieve better grades. So I decided to keep the file. A bit of an ego push ups there ;)

And I found a book belonged to my second youngest brother, Puchen. He was so cute when he was young when he joined the Boys Scout. Zainul and him were very active in their teen years and I remember sending them out to campings and meetings early morning in weekends that often got on my nerve for waking me up so early hehehe :D At one time, I was so sleepy when I had to drive them that we almost involved in a road accident! My car drove past the side road's bumps. Luckily no one was hurt. The boys were quiet at the back though. They knew when to keep their mouth shut when I lost my temper. Some memories there :)

So we looked through the book. It was so cute that I couldn't resist passing it to everybody to see hehehe :D I took a few snaps of the book. Seeing Puchen now 21 years of age, his meticulous, neat and careful efforts are still shown in his work. He's born to be we all agreed :) Have a look guys!

I find this one the cutest! :D
Check out this namelist boys! Who knows you're one of them ;)
Now this is cool!! How to make different kinds of knots. I remember the boys practising knots at home. They were so cute! :)
We wonder how this is sung! Ada-ada saja! Hehehe :D
Funny right! Look at the drawings!!! LOL!!

Some updates

It's been a while. I do have the time but I can't be too bothered to update this page as often as before. First, I spend most of my puasa day in bed (coz I slept at almost midnight then wake up at 4am for sahur). My afternoon is spent in the kitchen from 3pm til sungkai time. Then, the night is spent in the bedroom, again: facebook-ing and reading. I just finished "Breaking Dawn". And I don't like it! It's Jacob that made me finish the book. The storyline is crap! I am now reading "Hettie of Hope Street" by Annie Groves. A good start so far. Hope it won't be crap too!

Anyway, Prince Whiny's first day out was last Sunday when Sharul and I took him on the car ride. He was in awe! LOL!! Hiding behind Sharul and me at times and eyes lurking out the car windows. So cute! We had to leave him in the car so we could go out buy some food for sungkai. He was looking so puzzled. Confused I must say hehe. It was all drawn in his eyes. Whiny is just so adorable! I love him to bits and pieces!!

~~~ Prince Whiny's first day out ~~~
At the back seat, lost hehe..
On dear boyfriend's shoulder. Manja eh!!
Me with Louie at Gerai Ramadhan at the stadium
Patiently waiting for us, though he is menyamal-ing now hehe :P
Last Monday, Nadiah and I took Whiny to the vet. He hadn't had his deworm injection. The funny thing was, since it was our first time there, we didn't have him caged! We were warned though hehe.. And boy! Whiny freaked out seeing other cats there. He was in fear! He hid in my blouse even! LOL!! An hour of waiting, the doc said he was as healthy as a horse! Good gum and teeth. Handsome, indeed ;) He'll have his deworn injection again this coming 14th Dec. It's in my mental diary.
~~~ Whiny's visit to the vet ~~~

On the way to the vet
Freaking out seeing cats everywhere in cages
I had to soothe him all the time or he'd sneak into my blouse coz of overwhelming fear over other cats around him ... making us wonder whether our Prince Whiny is an anti social hehehe :P
Hehehe this is how he looked .. burying his face into my hand! Poor thing hehehe :P
The moment of truth ... for Whiny hehe
It's over in a minute, after a long wait!
Exhausted, Whiny slept for 4 hours straight!!

Okay, I miss him now :( ..............

Baking in progress

So, it's hols, for me personally, and my sis-in-law so we stayed up late last night and baked some Tapak Kuda rolls. We managed baking 14 rolls altogether in roughly 2 hours. It's messy but a therapy at the same time. To update, it's down to 8 rolls now. This is what happens when you have a big family :) Everybody is loving it!

Click here for the recipe. We're gonna bake some more, both for snacking and the coming Hari Raya.

I AM AN ARIES: The Daredevil (huh??)

Energetic (yea, in many ways)

Adventurous and spontaneous (definitely)

Confident and enthusiastic (yup!)

Fun (hmm ... I should ask my friends that!)

Loves a challenge (100%)

EXTREMELY impatient (well, I hate waiting. Does that count??)

Sometimes selfish (am I??)

Short fuse; easily angered (hell yeah!)

Lively, passionate and sharp wit (hmm ... No comment!)

Outgoing (for sure!)

Lose interest quickly - easily bored (most of the time)

Egostical (in some ways; my baby says "in MANY ways" LOL!!)

Courageous and assertive (I agree!)

Tends to be physical and athletic (hmm ... Naah!!)
