The recalling

Okay .. This sentence came out after minutes of thinking. 2009 .. Only one thing came to mind now. Agony. Yes. That feeling haunted me all year through in 2009. It was the only year that I wrote less than I used to. The only year that I found writing incomparable to the pain I had gone through this year.

Recalling back, as far as myself is concerned, I did my very best career wise, yet there were a few parties that were somehow against me. No explanation I could find to why they reacted as such but dear friends had always consoled me by saying 'jealousy' as the main reason. You know what .. deep inside, I don't feel so. Because I am just being me, have always been, and I do what I gotta do. You can say I am the 'robot' of my very own career. They say this, I won't say that. I know who I am. I am just a civil servant who's trying to make ends meet. Above all. I am a nobody who is so much looking forward to a happy working environment, with no drama, no politics, no bullshits. Just work.

I am happier in the new workplace, but everybody needs time to settle down and get to know everybody well. Misunderstanding happened a lot this year that it's just turning the friendly place dull. Networking online had also caused troubles at work. Really, I don't have time to entertain such wasted childish acts. And I thought everybody was wishing for a freedom of speech! Enough said ..

And so .. work wise, 2009 sucks! Hence, this whole backstabbing and bitching gossips had somehow affected my relationship with Sharul. I think he's had enough of me complaining about work that he'd responded with just one word to my hundreds of miles of complaints: "Hmmm.." Damn it! It's not even a word! But I understand. He's got his own problems at work too so I got my sweet revenge by just pretending to listen to his lengthy complaints. Sometimes I annoyed him when I kept asking who was who in his complaints and he'd just show that annoyed face. Kesian my sayang .. Sorry baby. I will try to be your best listener in 2010 okay. Promise!

Financially, I suck too! Well, that had to go back to my feeling of annoyance over my dissatisfaction and injustice treatments I got at work. With these imbalanced hormones that I am having, spending and eating and spending and eating were all I had been doing when I was down. But I am glad for having dear friends around who were always free to accompany me burn back those calories I had added into my forever bulging tummy! You know who you are and girls, let's do more hiking and sweating in 2010!! :D

In less than an hour, it will be 2010. I am not setting any resolutions like I used to do before. I've got other things to worry about all year through (starting tomorrow). But I still have hopes and dreams. I just wish my plans will get on well for good. I don't want another 2009 in the rest of my life history.

Happy new year people! I honestly can't wait to wave 2009 goodbye. Welcome 2010!! May you bring multiple happiness to us all!! :)

The first two attempts

It's half past 1am and I just finished making my very own 'buku hantaran' :) It was just a trial as I only attended a class on bookmaking but not the making of 'buku hantaran'. Somehow I just took the basic steps at bookmaking as I had learnt and voila! I did two! :)

It's always been my dream to make something by my own for my special day. Now the engagement is in a few hours and Alhamdulillah, one of the many dreams has come true :) I know it's just a simple touch but I am proud of it!

Sharul's theme this Friday will be grey and white while mine will be blue and grey. So adding this and that together, I managed to show our themes for that day :) Well, have a look. To Rozi, thank you for the class you gave us. I sure learnt a lot! Thank you so much! :)

I like the little things that make this simple book look .. 'something' :)

PS: I went out with Sharul tonight (which was last night now) and we had a talk about how we managed to get through 8 years in our relationship. Then I added, "So, is this our last date?" He smiled and answered, "I think so." LoL! I wonder how different it will be after we get engaged. One thing I hope for sure is LESS SMALL FIGHTS! ;)

And finally Sharul made the time to make his own Baju Melayu. Unfortunately, the 'kain' I bought for him did not match with mine so we had to go out finding another, this time bringing my baju along hehehe :P He met his friend who just got married last week and saw my baju in Sharul's hands. The usual comment's heard: "Jangan tah batah-batah. Siok kawin ani!" LoL! No comment to that pal! Hehehe ;)

Huhu~~

*tsk tsk*

Dad didn't knock on the door. He called! Now there's no way out :(

Gotta go *yawn*

The trip before 25th

Just got home now. Our plan went on well. My body is aching and am actually hiding from dad now: he's bringing us out to his cousin's daughter's wedding. Yes, tonight! I don't think I have enough energy left to join him coz it's been a long day and a long ride!

So now our cars are parked in Bangar, which took us roughly 5 hours to get there. Thank God the queue towards the Pandaruan Ferry was not that long or else we would've spent our time on the road for even 10 hours! Since it's Christmas tomorrow so we think it's better to park our cars in Bangar today than having to queue from Limbang to Temburong for another 5 extra hours (or more!) tomorrow. We want to be in Kota Kinabalu by mid day.

I haven't packed but I'm exhausted and I seriously need a nap. I hope dad won't knock on that door or he'll drag me out to the wedding as he wishes to *tsk tsk*

The pets' updates

The exam was finally over. I left the exam hall 30 minutes before it actually ended. As expected, I couldn't really think of the answers of the questions though I practically had some ideas of "what" to write. Well, I wrote crap actually! So, yeah. Leaving the room, I told myself to be ready to see the big "F" on the result board next month. I did my best but I don't think it would be much appreciated since I only knew basics but not details of the facts and figures of whatever topics questioned.

So, I spent the rest of the day today at Sharul's, playing with the kitties and the hamsters. Dale, the female hamster, seemed to be gaining weight so fast the past few weeks. Chip, the male one, stays the same. So I thought that she could be pregnant. Who knows! Sharul separated the two into different cages but when doing the cleaning up, they'd be put in the same one. So yeah, pregnancy could happen.

I guessed it right! She WAS pregnant! :D It was Sharul who noticed the two little red hamsters. I quote: "Oh my God!! My hamster ada babiesss!!!" LoL! Sharul was over the moon tonight hehehhee :D As usual, he would check on the cats and rodents as soon as he gets home from work. It's sweet seeing his eyes with awe checking on the little ones :D

Dale and her babies :)

My sayang happily looking at his hamsters :D

Oh by the way, we've got two new kitties. One is just about reaching 2 months, another is 3 months. We called the younger one Tiger and another Cheetah. But we have to let go of Cheetah coz Prince Whiny and Fluffy seem to be hating him so much huhu~~ They even refused to use the same litter box that Cheetah had been using - they peed and pooed in the living room. Something they had never done before so recently. Even today I realised both the prince and princess refused to take their meals unless Tiger was put far away from the food! *sigh* So sombong ehh the two!! Pfft!!!

Menyamal-ing now. Inda mau makan pasal Tiger was around. SOMBONG!!
Fluffy, sleeping all day long, her usual habit in the afternoon
The new member in our pets' world: Tiger :)
At a young age, we observe that Tiger still longs for motherly love but Fluffy is so sombong that she keeps ignoring him. But there's an improvement today. She let him sleep on her forelegs :)
Adorable aren't they! Whiny saja sombong berabisssly!!!

We like Cheetah. He's not a fluffy type but he's so friendly. He's quite big for his age I must say so we all think he'd grow as big as Prince Whiny when he's older. Too bad we had to let him go *sigh* Hope he'll get to have loving owners .. I would have loved to have him but mum would kill me! Or him!! And that would be even worse huhu~~

Staying with the kitties the whole day today have somehow left me feeling better after that difficult exam I was sitting this morning. Now I'm prepared for another re-sit. I'd take the same paper next June. As for Prince Whiny, phewww he's grown H-U-G-E! And heavy. We're quite worried about Fluffy as she seems to be remaining small since we first had her. Hope she's been cured from her sickness last time..

Me and Prince Whiny today. Basar kannn!!
Prince Whiny now is as big as Sharul's arms. Very heavy too!

PS: Just got an incoming comment post on my Fb wall. Nadiah said one of the hamster's babies didn't make it .. :( Sharul was so excited about their births ... Kesiannn the baby ....

The headache over exam no 2

I just got home now and my head is so heavy with whatever that I have read since this morning. We met up at Louie's after 10am and now the time shows 30 past 4pm. Imagine how crammed my head is!! But honestly, I don't think I could make sense of whatever that we discussed today. It's like, I read it and it evaporated into thin air as I thought it out loud.

This paper is so unlike the exam no 1. It's full of facts and procedures. The bilangan numbers and such are just too many. Surat keliling, codes, bla bla bla. What's more frustrating is, as we referred to past year exam papers, the questions were simple but the answers would go as long as 3 pages!! How on earth are we gonna be able to get full marks when most of them are facts and numbers?? Mati ehhh .... The thing is, most of us do not have the experience in managing finance at work. Those who work under the finance section would definitely find it easy lah kan ...

I can't do this people. I just can't *sigh*

Now not to mention the language presentation in the notes. Diana is a Bahasa Melayu teacher. Even she can't understand certain sentences in the books! What's more us, not the Bahasa Melayu linguists! God help us!!

Okay, am gonna fail this paper. Definite! *sigh*

The cousin's big day :')

The long awaited day came finally. Yanti looked fabulous as she was in her other 3 functions. Her wedding was ever more beautiful with the two little flower girls who are her very own nieces. Everyone loved both cute girls in purple that day. They were supposed to make their entrance with the couple in the Berambil-ambilan function that night but they refused to wait that long hehehee :P They even demanded for make-ups! So melatinggg!!

Farisha: she's 4 and already knows what a mascara is :P
Baby Amanina, Farisha's sister. She demanded to be the flower girl on the day of the wedding instead of at night during the Berambil-ambilan. Her reason: to show off her pretty gown and veil to her cousins who couldn't come to the night function hehheee :P

Lovely couple aren't they! :')

The Berambil-ambilan took place the night of the wedding day. This is when the groom's close relatives came to the bride's (the groom stayed at the bride's after the wedding) and brought in many gifts, usually groceries. The old times included mattresses, pillows and such. Nowadays, it's been made simpler. The night was merrier with karaoke-ing and lucky draws, apart from lots and lots of makan-makan :P I went home right after the couple left their table while the rest of the families chose to stay till 2am. Mom sponsored the karaoke-ing gifts. She spent quite a lot I must say but sorry, I couldn't stay up late. It had been a very very long day.

Getting ready for the night's function

Cutting the cake: "Allah selamat kan kamu~~" :D

To the couple, congratulations again. I know I've said this over and over but I wish I could find better words than simply say, "I am happy for you both!" Well I guess, that's the best I could come up with ;)

I love you Yanti! And Rahim ... your job is to love her MORE! ;)

PS: Sharul came late for the wedding yesterday as he had to attend his friend's wedding too. Everyone was asking about him now that all know when our engagement is gonna be. They want to see who my fiance-to-be since Sharul is almost never around during my family gathering. When he arrived, all eyes were at him. And there he was all blusing! Heheheee :P

The great once in a while get together outing : )

Today was great! :) I went to see Baby Sarah for a photo-shoot with her mother and Rena. It was great fun especially when it's the baby's first day out :D She looked at everything with her eyes showing awes. What an adorable baby. So cute!! :D I hope Armie would give me copies of the pictures taken today. I wanna keep them for memoir :) *yes Armie. I know you'd read this! ;)*

My Sharul showed up after work not long after we arrived and taken a few snaps. Like me, he found Baby Sarah irresistible! She is sooooo chubby! And when she smiles, any heart would melt with it :D I couldn't let go of her. Maya, I know I sound 'uber' here but hey! I think am in love with your baby!!! Heeeee :D
Chubby kann!! Eeeeee..... :D
First day out, she's the centre of some ... clowns! :D Next, KK. Then ...? ;)
Photographers in action ;) Armie's got super cool camera!! You should see his trunk!!
This is my favourite picture of all. Bonding moment's captured! :)
My lovely friends and lovely baby girl :)
*wink wink* ;)
The proud parents :)
Last shots before parting. She cried when her mummy said: Wanna follow Mummy Suzi and Uncle Sharul? Hehehe.. Damit2 sudah pintar! :D

By almost 6pm, we agreed to meet up for dinner an hour later on. Sharul needed to freshen up while Baby Sarah needed to be fed. It's not good to keep her out too long since she's only 3 months now.

So, just afer 7pm, we met up at Fleur-de-lyss Qlap Mall. We had planned to watch "Avatar" too so dinner was a must ;) I met Rena's friend (and I forgot her name already yikes! So bad of me ...), and we sat next to each other in the movie. She's pretty cool :D I hope she wouldn't mind me being so hecticly noisy on some parts of the movie coz I couldn't help it! It's one movie that worth 5.5 million US Dollar and really worth my $9 ticket! A super duper awesome movie. And this is coming from someone who doesn't really like science fiction. Go figure! :D
H-U-G-E!!
After the movie. We all said: it's worth the $9 ticket!!

It was nice meeting friends whom I seldom see. And of course, having Baby Sarah around made it much much memorable outing ever :')

Good night Baby Sarah. Mummy Suzi misses you already .. mwahh!! :)
