The what....??

Hey peeps! How are you lot? Just dropping by here to revive the page. Well, for now though. God knows when will I be able to have the time to do this again. I just feel like talking (well, writing) today.

Work today was okay, compared to the past weeks. The very first morning was very intriguing though. I came into the office and the first thing I saw was a little boy sitting on a chair. He saluted me and I smiled. So I asked one of the colleagues who the kid was. Aziz turned around, and looked back at me. Blankly, saying, "What kid?" And I was like ... Okaaay~~ and made my move to my desk.

Now, why didn't I bother, coz the place I work in has its own mysteries. Haunted ones. There have been "stories" that we had faced multiple times; hysteria, eerie sounds, moving things, bla bla bla. So today, experiencing "another" one was NOT an option.

I looked at the boy. He looked back. No expression. I looked at the others in the office, everybody seemed to be busy with their stuff at their tables. Then Hasanul (yes Aiza, Ejah. YOUR Hasanul) asked me about the 100-hours list. So I walked to him, bringing my file. So the whispering started:

Me: Sanul, you see that kid right?
Sanul: What kid?
Me: THAT kid. At the blue chair..
Sanul: *turned around*
Me: You see him?
Sanul: *clueless, blank expression*
Me: Sanul! NOT FUNNY okay!!
Sanul: What are you talking about? What kid? Are you kidding??
Me: No I'm not!
Sanul: *turned around again* There's nobody there Suzi.. *turned around again* Are you sure...?
Me: Wallahi! He's wearing Baju Melayu!
Sanul: Don't do this ehhh! I got goosebumps now...
Me: Errgh! Sanul... Not funnyyy!!! *left his table*

Then Hasanul followed me back to my desk. He stood in front of me and whispered, "Where is he? Is he behind me??" *His back was facing the kid*. I nodded slowly.

Right then, Hasanul walked to Aziz and whispered something. Aziz looked blanked. The same face expression Hasanul had a few minutes later. There, I told my self, "This can't be happening!!"

I packed my stuff, and headed to the door. "I'm going to class!!" I called out. Before I left, I turned around and faced Hasanul. "NOT funny Sanul if you DO see him!" and I made my move to my class.

In class, I sent a student to get something from my table. When he got back, he brought with him Aziz's message: "The thing you saw was not real." He said he had no idea what it meant. So I interrogated him. Asking him whether the office was empty. He said, other teachers were there.

Then I asked him what he saw at the chair. "I didn't pay attention, teacher."

Then I asked him, "Did you see a kid sitting there?"

"A kid? Yea. I saw a kid."

LOL!! People, I just got punk'd!! LOL!!

When I got back to the office, I laughed harder finding out that they got Faizul, Zir, Aziz, and Hasanul too!

Faizul panicked and urged all to leave the office - the rest laughed when he suggested that and the game was over lol.

Aziz read the Ayat Kursi - everyone joined in and raised their palms up for prayers - he stopped mid way when the kid raised his palms up too. Aziz actually thought the kid was a Muslim ghost! LOL!

When Zir came, she left immediately after "sensing" the ghost kid lol!

Then Hasanul acted as a hero, approaching the boy asking him to leave: "Pulang lah ke asal mu!" (Go back to where you belong!) Hahahahah!!

The funny story spread so quickly that we got the whole staffroom laughing.

Oh man! What a day! Ahahaha!!!

A: No, no 'cher! Me okay now. Yaargh! Got spirit already!! *showed off his fist high then looked at his friend sitting next to him* Okay, K! What to do?

A: Okay 'cher ..

Me: So, what's the biggest island of Japan? Look here *pointing at an empty space on the map that ended with the word 'island'*
K: Pacific 'cher?
Me: What?! Pacific ISLAND?? Pacific is an ocean lah! Not an island!
K: Owwhhh heeeee *smiled*
Me: So, what's the name of the biggest island of Japan?
K: *silent for a few seconds* Dunno eh!! A! Your turn now!
A: Huh!! Island? *looked at the map blankly*
Me: Urhgg! You two NEED help!!

... And the same lesson repeated ... Aiyo!!

Ways To Turn Down UNWANTED Men!

I just got an email of the above. It got me laughing out loud! Really funny and daring! Well, have a laugh peeps!! :D

HE : Hi. Didn't we go on a date once? Or was it twice?
SHE : Must've been once. I never make the same mistake twice.

HE : Will you go out with me this Saturday?
SHE : Sorry. I'm having a headache this weekend.

HE : Your face must turn a few heads.
SHE : And your face must turn a few stomachs.

HE : Go on ,don't be shy. Ask me out.
SHE : Okay, get out!

HE : I think I could make you very happy.
SHE : Why? Are you leaving?

HE : What would you say if I asked you to marry me?
SHE : Nothing. I can't talk and laugh at the same time.

HE : Shall we go see a movie?
SHE : I've already seen it.

HE : Where have you been all my life?
SHE : Hiding from you.

HE : Haven't I seen you some place before?
SHE : Yes. That's why I don't go there anymore.

HE : Is this seat empty?
SHE : Yes, and this one will be if you sit down.

HE : Hey baby, what's your sign?
SHE : Do not enter.

HE : If I could see you naked, I'd die happy.
SHE : If I saw you naked, I'd probably die laughing.

What the ... !

It's one of those days when me and Danny were instructed to interview groups of selected students for an exchanged program. This time, the selected ones will be going to Republic of Oman. We need to narrow down to 3 girls and 3 boys. As usual, we found some funny responses from the kids today! Entertaining for such long hours of individual interviews.

.................................................................

Danny: Ok, now tell us what you know about Oman ..
Student A: Well, honestly .. I don't know about it ..
Me: Owh? So you've never heard of Oman before?
Student A: Yes I have. But I don't know much about it.
HA: Were you just told about this interview?
Student A: No. I was informed about it a few weeks ago ..
Danny: And you don't make any effort to make research on it?
Student A: I have been busy ..
Me: With what?
Student A: Multimedia Competition ..
Me and Danny: *looked at each other. How IRONIC!!*

...............................................................

Danny: So, of all things that you must bring to Oman IF you are selected, what will be the 3 things that you must not forget to carry with you?
Student B: First, the most important thing will be my laptop cause I'll need it to contact my parents cause for me they are the most important people in my life ..
Us: *nodded*
Student B: Secondly, of course I will bring my clothes ..
Danny: Ok, what's next?
Student B: Hmmm ... I will bring my 'telekung' (prayer clothing) ..
HA: Is that all?
Student B: Yes, that's all.
HA: I don't think you need a laptop. It'll be a hassle to bring it everywhere in Oman ..
Student B: I need it to contact my parents ..
Danny: Well, you can contact your parents using other gadgets ..
HA: Yes, I don't think you need a laptop.
Me: Yes! You wouldn't have time going online and send emails to them with the tight schedule.
Student B: Well ... Hmm ... I can stand without contacting my family actually ..
Us: *exchanged look*

...............................................................

Me: Do you like music?
Student C: Yes.
HA: Do you play music?
Student C: No, I don't. I just listen to music.
Me: Ok ... What kind of songs do you listen to?
Student C: I like listening to the video game's songs.
Us: Huh?
Student C: They're touching!
Us: Touching? LOL!
HA: So ... Do you have any health problem?
Student C: I am fine ...
Me: Any allergies?
Student C: *showing off her left hand* Well ... I got scratched by my rabbit here ...
Me: *silent for a moment* Err ... So you're allergic to ... Rabbit??
Student C: Oh no! It scratched me ... Here *pointing at her scratched hand*
Me and HA: *exchanged look*
Danny: Hmm ... Right ... So, if you're selected, what are the 3 things that you must bring to Oman?
Student C: One, my passport. Then, my I.C. and of course, my clothes ...
Danny: Impressive!
Me: Yes, well done! You're the first student got it right!
HA: But I don't think you need to bring your I.C. Your passport is just enough to present your identity there in Oman.
Student C: Well, in that case, I'll bring my PSP instead!!
Us: *Erk!!*

...............................................................

Me: So ... Do you play guitar?
Student D: Well, I wouldn't say I know how to play guitar but I dream of playing it!
Danny: Dream??
Student D: Yes! I listen to music and ... I pretend to play the guitar with it!
Me and Danny: *fell silent and exchanged look .. seconds later all of us laughed*
Me: Hmm ... Do you dance??
Student D: ... Only if you pay me!
Us: *burst out laughing*
HA: Do you play the traditional musical instrument like 'guling tangan'?
Student D: No but I've seen my friends playing it and I beat on the 'rebana'.
Me: That's great! So, if you're selected ... How will you present Brunei to the Omanis?
Student D: Oh! I will be the walking encyclopedia of Brunei!!
Us: *burst out laughing*
HA: Encyclopedia??
Me: Ok! So, imagine that I am an Omani and I asked you about Brunei. How will you answer me?? It's a big question there! HOW!!
Student D: Well, I will say that Brunei is .... bla bla bla .... (a very good answer I'd say)
Us: Well done! We're impressed with your answers there!
Danny: So ... Where have you gone to? I mean, have you ever gone abroad??
Student D: No. I've never gone anywhere! Not Miri or even Limbang.
Me: So you don't have a passport?!
Student D: No. I don't have one!
Me: Oh, I'd advise you to make one a.s.a.p. in case you're selected for this programme ...
Student D: *nodded*
HA: So, do you have any question for us?
Student D: Hmm ... Will I have to pay for anything if I am selected?
HA: No. The MOE will pay for the expenses.
Student D: Will I stay in a hotel?
Me: That ... we're not sure yet. You might be staying in a hostel instead.
Student D: When can I find out the answer?
HA: We will call you and let you know if you're selected.
Student D: Ok ...
HA: Alright, you may go now ...
Me: We'll get back to you ya. But, do expect the worse!
Student D: Hmm ... Ok *while opening the door to leave and suddenly stopped and looked at us* Choose me! Choose me!!
Us: LOL!

Al-Kisah~

Last night, we went to Ujung Bukit for an open house at my uncle's place. We left home rather late and when we got there, it had started to rain. So we rushed to the wooden bridge, which was lengthy, only to find out one of my thick Spice Girls shoes was torn! What's worse, the only pair of shoes that I had in my car was the 5-inch pair! Imagine me, an elephant size, walking on the bridge all the way to my uncle's, on my long 'gamis'! Not to mention the dark night, which on both sides, were the graveyards. And on HEELS!! Gosh! I'd to hold on to Nurul to walk properly. At times, I almost fell off!

Nurul: Eh, walk steady! Feel confident in your heels!
Me: It's difficult la! *screamed a high-pitch tone as one of my heels got trapped in between a hole of the bridge*
Nurul: LOL! Eh, confident la! Feel the sexy move! You'll walk just fine I tell you!
Me: *cursing <-- "Sexy walk kepala hotak mu!!"* How to walk sexy!! I got trapped all the way!! *screamed again* It wouldn't be funny if I fell off into the water!!
Nurul: Ya lor! If that so, swim sexily la!! LOL
Me: *cursing again* I can't even swim!!
Nurul: LOL sigh~

Okay! I was pissed but I guess I'm too cute to show it hehe :P

My spoiled Spice Girls shoe! Cheh!!

The heels I was on. Imagine how difficult it was walking on those wooden platform! Also, notice the raindrops! It was hard I tell you!!

Told ya it was a long way to go! Sigh~~

At our uncle's we had various dishes: Mee Jawa (this is just delicious! I told mum to ask for the recipe but my aunt said it's a hard work, huhu), Spagetti, Macaroni, bla bla bla. All are yummy! Enough said!

In between meals, we were watching TV. As we were almost leaving, the rain fell heavily. We could hear raindrops on the zinc rooftop! So this means we had to stay till the rain stopped. It's a long way back to our car. Not to mention me walking on the 5-inch heels!!

So, making it worse, "Jangan Pandang Belakang" was on TV! We were like .... Grrreat! Dad loved the movie so we had to wait for him to watch it, at least up till the scene when the hero tuned on to the radio of the recital of Quranic verses when the ghost was disturbing him. Gosh! We didn't wanna watch it but the sound effects were just ....... Sheesshhh!!! Even Diana was looking away from the TV but my bro, Boy, got so interested in the movie cause he missed the first few minutes of the movie scenes when he watched it in the cinema last year.

Diana: So what's going on now? *looking away from the TV*
Boy: It's still following him now bla bla bla ... *watching TV and explaining the scene*
Diana: Eh? Really? Where? What happens? What's he doing?
Boy: Watch la! You keep asking me questions. Just watch la! Why you're so scared!
Diana: Don't want!! *still looking away from the TV*
Me: Of course la she's scared! She's gonna drive home alone later what!
Diana: Huhu .... *not happy*
Boy: *mumbled whatever*

My dad enjoying "Jangan Pandang Belakang" ..

Caught in the act: Mum and Uda Bini catching up with gossips keke :P

Diana refusing to watch the TV hehe :P

Yup! Am still sick :(

Killing the time: listening to MP3 and erm .. sleeping :P

By after 9pm, we were all ready to go home. It was still raining but it was already late. To wait for the rain to stop falling seemed impossible. We took a few pictures with the SOAS Mosque background. It was a nice view indeed!

Nurul and me, stuffed with food! Erk!!

Me and my cuz, Azrin ..

Nurul and me ..

Pudin, Nurul and Azri ..

Ehem! I walked all the way to the end of the bridge ... barefooted, erk! C'mon! It was raining and towards the end of the bridge, the rain started falling heavily. It was no way am gonna walk on heels in that condition! Besides, we were aware of the silence, if you know what I mean, erk!

Me: Eh, wait la! Wait for me! Ouch! *as I stepped on some hard and rough surfaced wooden platform*
Nurul: Faster la! It's raining!!! *moving faster*
Me: Waaait!!
Nurul: Boo! JANGAN PANDANG BELAKANG!!
Me: *screamed and started running*

Erk!! What a night out!!

PS: Dad was at the front with an umbrella. As Nurul and I reached him, he gave me his umbrella as he was worried about my asthmatic condition. I didn't take it of course as he wasn't wearing anything covering his head so I replied: "I'm wearing my scarf. You use the umbrella. I'm fine, dad!" :) My dad loves me! Hehe :P

Burrrp! +o(

*On the way to the nearby Hua Ho, after dinner at Capers, near Coffee Bean*

Danny: *stopped by to read an advertisement outside Baiduri Bank*
Me and Yanti: *further ahead of Danny, chatting*
Danny: Hey you guys!
Me and Yanti: *turned around and looked at him*
Danny: I think, I'm gonna apply for this 'Akaun Si Manja' *while holding his round tummy*
Me and Yanti: *laughing hysterically*
Me: Haha ... I think me too!
Yanti: Yes, me too I guess! Hahaha!
Me: You look like you're 8 months pregnant now Danny.
Danny: Yea ... I know ...
Me and Yanti: *LOL*

================================================================

The cleaned plates ... burrp!!

Like any other restaurants, Air Bandung is also served in Capers. Why not Cendol huh?? =P

Me and Yanti, my closest cuzzie :)

Me and Danny; my 8-month old pregnant guy friend kekeke =P

Me again ;)

I have never felt so stuffed like tonight. Ever! Me, Yanti and Danny had our sungkai at Capers in Qlap; the All-You-Can-Eat $14.60 round dishes. It's Teachers Day today and after all, it's pay day so Yanti and I planned to have our dinner there. Besides, the planning had been postponed for many times. I invited Danny as we had our BSC Meeting this morning. We met at Capers just after 6pm. On counting, I think we ordered 11 or 12 different dishes. By 8pm, the three of us surrendered, though we had to cleanse the plates on our table or else we'd be charged for the left over. The outcome, burrp!! +o(

=================================================================

Me: *leaning on a Pajero with one hand, another on my tummy; not feeling good*
Danny: *laughing*
Me: Burrp!
Danny: *still laughing* You look funny!!
Me: I don't feel good. I really don't feel good ... Burrp!!
Danny: *laughing and holding his tummy now* Stop! I can't hold this anymore!!! *LOL*
Me: Really Dan! I think I'm gonna throw up!
Danny: *looking at me seriously now* Smell something nice. Something sweet. That'll help.
Me: Huh??
Danny: Smell anything, like perfume kah..
Me: *put my scarf to my nose and started sniffing* Errghh!! This smells like Capers!!
Danny: *LOL*
Me: Burrp!!

=================================================================

Gosh! With full tummy, and his never-ending jokes, I felt really really ....... burrp!! Luckily, I managed to control myself from throwing up, though I had to stop at a parking lot near a drain just in case I did. Never in my life I ever felt so stuffed like that. Even the smell of KFC and the sight of biscuits and goodies at a bakery nearby made me really wanna puke!

I feel better now. I promise I won't eat as much anymore, especially with Danny around! Burrp!!

Early Morning

In class during lesson ...

Inspectors: Assalamualaikum ... *entering class*

Me & students: Waalaikummussalam ...

Inspector A: Cg Suzi! You bring drinks to class ah! You drink in class!!

Me: Huh? Sorry? I don’t…

Inspector: I saw you. I saw you drink Cg Suzi, don’t deny it!

Me: *blank* …

Inspector B: And the teacher from the other class said your class is very noisy. Your voice can be heard from the other class!
Me: Noisy?? *blank*

Inspectors: Yes!!

Inspector A: How do you teach students with that Cg Suzi??

Inspector B: I know with noisy class you can make students competitive. There’s a research on this but it doesn’t make students’ results improved!

Students: *whispering*

Me: *still shocked*

Inspector A: *walked to the students at the back of the classroom* Do you think that way you learnt better? Yes? No??

Student A: *nodded*

Inspector A: *walked to nodded student* Oh! You think so? You think you have got better marks in this subject? You think this way you … bla … bla … bla …

Student A: *shocked*started sobbing*

Me: *walked towards student A. By this time Inspector A turned around and almost bumped into me. I ignored her and put my hand on student A’s shoulder. Inspector A stood at the front of the classroom now*

Students: *a female student at the front seat started crying*others looked shocked*

Inspector B: *talking to the female student at the front* Why are you crying?? Stop crying!!

Student B: *sobbing now*

Student A: *covered his face with his book*crying*

Me: Shhh… It’s Ok. It’s Ok…

Inspector A: *babbling*

Me: *still soothing student A, exchanged look with student B in between*

Inspector A: Cg Suzi! Are you listening to what I’m saying?!

Me: *looked at inspector A then back to student A*

Inspector A: This is why I don’t like going to class and talk to teachers!!

Me: *turned around and looked at Inspector A*

Inspector A: *glared at me*

Me: *walked towards inspector A, boiling inside*

Inspector A: *still glaring at me*

Me: *wanted to say this*

I don’t mind you calling me whatever. Or criticizing my teaching techniques. But you CANNOT involve my students in this!!!

Inspectors: *looked at me*

Me: *still walking towards them*

Then …. Blank!!

I woke up from sleep!!

Sheesshhh!!! What a nightmare!!!

No way! Seriously??? Erk!!

I've been counting the days of my trips to Phuket and Bangkok this December. While surfing, I found this vid. Seriously guys, it intimidates me! The second vid is funny though kekeke :p

PS: I'd very much appreciate comments on the 'Bangkok Train' video. I haven't been to Thailand and I've very little idea about it. So far, Irman has warned me about its 'shabby' environment, erk! :S

=== The Bangkok Train. Seriously??? ===

=== Typically Thai slang to the groove hehehe :p ===

Babies Videos

Dude! This video cracks me up!! Funny kid. It's really cute when he's darn worried about his lil bro Jud (BibiJud). Supportive dad too! He's trying so hard to hold it but blew it up in the end hahaha!
~~~ Buhlud! Not funnyyyy!!! ~~~
Here's another favourite of mine. Just brilliant! I hope she'd finally deliver her 'speech' when she grows up, now that she's got the gestures and tones hehehe :p Listen to what she says and read the subtitles. Seriously, they're ALIKE! Amazing! :-)
~~~ Vote For Toddler Party!! :p ~~~

I AM AN ARIES: The Daredevil (huh??)

Energetic (yea, in many ways)

Adventurous and spontaneous (definitely)

Confident and enthusiastic (yup!)

Fun (hmm ... I should ask my friends that!)

Loves a challenge (100%)

EXTREMELY impatient (well, I hate waiting. Does that count??)

Sometimes selfish (am I??)

Short fuse; easily angered (hell yeah!)

Lively, passionate and sharp wit (hmm ... No comment!)

Outgoing (for sure!)

Lose interest quickly - easily bored (most of the time)

Egostical (in some ways; my baby says "in MANY ways" LOL!!)

Courageous and assertive (I agree!)

Tends to be physical and athletic (hmm ... Naah!!)
